ebay circular fashion fund

The eBay Circular Fashion Fund supports startups and small businesses developing solutions that make fashion more circular, extending product life, keeping materials in use, and reducing waste.

Across the United States, Canada, and Australia, four businesses will each receive a USD $50,000 cash investment. Another 4 from Europe, the UK, or Switzerland are eligible to receive the USD $50.000. One of these 8 will also be awarded the Circular Fashion Fund Global Winner title and the opportunity to receive an additional USD $300,000 investment from eBay Ventures.

Who Is Eligible?

Applicants must:

Have an established business with an ABN
Have been trading for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 6 years
Be a for-profit, charity, or social enterprise (charities and not-for-profits must also have an ACNC registration)
Be open to both eBay and non-eBay account holders

Assessment Criteria

Applications will be assessed based on:

Ability to leverage emerging technologies to advance the circular fashion economy
A clear and differentiated value proposition with competitive advantage
A commercially viable business model that solves a real problem
Demonstrated positive impact on people and the planet, both short and long term
Potential for strategic alignment with eBay’s platform and sustainability objectives
Quality and completeness of the application

Businesses progressing to global assessment will also be evaluated on their team, business traction, and long-term vision.
