The UNSW Founders 10X Accelerator Program could be one of the strongest opportunities in Australia right now for high-potential, tech-enabled startups.

💡 What is the 10X Accelerator?

The program is a 10-week intensive accelerator designed to help founders rapidly build, refine and scale their startup.

You’ll learn directly from experienced founders, investors and industry experts, while working hands-on in your business.

💰 What you get

$100,000 in seed funding (via SAFE agreement)
A structured 10-week accelerator program
Access to mentors, investors and industry experts
A cohort of other high-growth founders

🚀 Program streams

There are three streams in the 2026 program:

10X (All Industries) For high-potential tech-enabled startups across any sector
👉 Requires at least one founder who is a UNSW student, staff member or alumni

H10X (Health) For startups developing scalable solutions to major health and medical challenges

C10X (Climate) For startups focused on decarbonisation and climate solutions

👉 The Health and Climate streams are open to Australian startups (no UNSW affiliation required)

👤 Who should apply?

This program is best suited to founders who:

Are building a tech-enabled startup
Have a prototype, MVP or early traction
Are ready to scale and potentially raise capital
Want structured support and accountability

🎓 Westpac Accelerator Scholarships

An additional opportunity for women and non-binary founders accepted into the program. 3 x $20,000 scholarships available which can be used for:

Business growth
Travel costs
Covering lost income during the program

⚠️ Key things to know

Each stream has limited places (around 6 startups per stream)
Eligibility criteria differs by stream
You’ll likely need at least an MVP and some level of validation
