Today I want to talk about another strategy out of my Business Survival Guide – that’s about dealing with your staff and the impact on your customers

Now is not the time to adversely impact your customers by trying to save a few staff dollars.  Instead you need to make your staff more efficient and more effective so they better better value for your customers.  For example:

  • Is there things that your staff are doing that is not adding value to the customers? If so why are they doing it?  Remove that and save money that way.
  • Are there things that you can do to speed up the process or remove roadblocks in the process? Do that to save time and money, and
  • Are there ways to reduce mistakes or to eliminate rework and save time and money there?

That’s the key, make your staff more efficient, more effective and deliver better value to your customers and don’t just cut 20% of their time.
