Business Success rates
Ever wondered about Business Success rates for new businesses?
Well, the other day the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) put some data on this.
In the between July 2016 and June 2017 there were 328,205 new business created.
By June 2018 22% of these had closed.
By June 2019, nearly 38% of those had closed.
By June 2020, nearly 47% of those had closed. And this would not have included the full impact of the COVID shutdowns either.
So, putting it another only 1 in 2 businesses survived more than 3 years.
And one of the key reasons why these new businesses close so fast is poor cashflow management. Another is poor strategic management of the business.
If you want help to improve your cashflow and strategic management of your business, so you are one of the businesses who lasts more than 3 years, simply contact me below.
