Covid-19 Disaster Payment for businesses with less than $30,000 turnover
Note this has been updated as of the Scott Morrison press statement on 28 July and based on the Govt Website updated 29 July. Which is at least the third change in these payments.
If you are a NSW sole trader who misses out on the NSW Governments latest support measures (turnover under $30,000), you may be able to get some support from the Federal Government under its COVID-19 Disaster Payment.

The financial support (assuming you meet all the criteria) is limited to:
You live or work in the following local government areas: Bayside, City of Sydney, Canada Bay, Inner West, Randwick, Waverley, Woollahra.
You live or work in any other local government areas subject to lockdown not included above. This includes Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong.
All other areas of NSW
Greater Melbourne
Also don’t forget to remind any staff that you have stood down, or casuals not working that they may be eligible for this COVID-19 Disaster Payment as well.
