Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) provides a range of finance options for Indigenous-owned businesses, including:

✅ IBA Business Loans

IBA Business Loans provide $10,000 to $5 million in finance to help Indigenous-owned businesses grow and invest. Loans are available to commercially viable, for-profit businesses with at least 50% Indigenous ownership, up to 200 employees, and active Indigenous management. Funding offers flexible repayment options and terms up to 20 years, with standard business security required.

✅ IBA Invoice Funding

IBA Invoice Funding helps established Indigenous businesses unlock cash tied up in unpaid invoices. Instead of waiting 60–90 days to be paid, businesses can access up to 80% of invoice values within 24 hours, improving cash flow for growing or seasonal operations. It suits businesses with strong sales, sound accounting, and limited access to bank finance, with fees and interest charged on funds used.

✅ IBA Start-up Finance Package

The IBA Start-up Finance Package supports new Indigenous businesses with loans up to $150,000, including up to 30% as a grant that doesn’t need to be repaid. It’s designed for start-ups under two years old with turnover below $400,000 and a viable business model. Funding is for capital costs like equipment and fit-outs, with flexible repayments and loan terms up to 7 years.
