NSW Going Global Health and Medtech to Greater China

If you an Health and Medtech business thinking of expanding to the Greater China, the NSW Going Global Export Program – Health and Medtech to Greater China program may be for you.

Eligible businesses can apply for support to export medical devices, equipment, products or health technology to the Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan).

The program runs from December 2023 to June 2024 and potential attendance at:

China International Medical Equipment Fair (11 to 14 April 2024, Shanghai) or
Hong Kong International Healthcare Week (16 to 31 May 2024

What the NSW Going Global Export Program – Health and Medtech to Greater China covers

You get access to:

Market intelligence briefings and cultural training.
Potential partner search and introductions.
In-market assistance, ongoing advice and follow up.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the overall NSW Going Global Program your business:

Have headquarters in NSW with a valid ABN
Be export-capable and export-ready
Have between 3 and 199 full-time equivalent employees
The product or service is achieving sales already
Have a website featuring the product or service
Be prepared to adapt the product or service for the market
Have a product or service that is produced primarily in NSW

Additional eligibility requirements for the Health and Medtech to Greater China:

Product is already commercially successful in Australia and/or other export market
This program does not include health supplements or health food

Note you can only apply for one stream at a time.
