The road is a tunnel

The road is a tunnel

Have not posted for a while as currently travelling Tasmania on the trip that was cancelled last year.  As we have been driving around on some of the back roads (tracks) of Tassie, I was thinking of one of the business relevance of one of the best tips we learned when we started 4wd many, many, years ago.

That tip was that the road is a tunnel.  Don’t just look at the area in front, but look to the sides and even above your vehicle for obstacles, challenges and opportunities ahead.  Typically, when 4wd driving it is low hanging branches or a way to get around an obstacle.

And this is the same for business owners.

Don’t just focus on what is immediately in front of you.  Keep on looking all around so you are not blindsided by obstacles and open to see any opportunities.
