Today I want to talk about why I do what I do, and why I love working with small and medium business owners in Australia.

About 20 years ago I the Australian CFO, or Chief Financial Officer for an American company. I had a boss in Sydney. A boss in Hong Kong. A boss in London and a boss in the US. And it got incredibly frustrating trying to implement things and decisions to improve the business.

That’s when I decided I only wanted to work with people who could make and implement decisions to improve their business. And in Australia that is typically your small and medium business owner.

But I also realised that those business owners could not afford someone like me on a full time basis. That’s when I created my outsourced CFO business.

And I love working with small and medium business owners as helping them make and implement, and if necessary tweak decisions to improve their business.

Seeing them getting what they are trying to achieve. Whether it is more profits, whether it is more time or a better family life. Whatever it is. I love working with small and medium business owners helping them to achieve their objectives so they and their family can have a better life.

That’s why I do what I do, and why I love working with small and medium business owners in Australia.
