Work in Paradise Jobs Incentive

One of the issues facing many businesses today is finding staff. Today the Queensland Government announced its Work in Paradise campaign to try to incentivise people to work in tourism related jobs in regional Queensland.

The Work in Paradise incentive is cash of up to $1,500 and a $250 travel bonus. Target areas are from Mackay north and west of Toowoomba

And on top of this, there is the Federal governments Relocation Assistance to Take Up a Job Program which allows eligible people to get up to another $6,000 of support. Click here to learn more about this program

For these regions in Queensland, this is a great idea. But it will potentially drain workers from other parts of Australia.
